This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Photographic Association of Dum Dum, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.padonline.org.in. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:09, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Photographic Association of Dum Dum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. May 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Photographic Association of Dum Dum, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 17:20, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Photographic Association of Dum Dum requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. LP talk 17:46, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Federation of Indian Photographers[edit]

Thanks. But the uncategorization tag is just a standard cleanup process on here, so you really don't have to directly alert me to every individual article you find a category for — it's okay to just fix it and move on :-) Bearcat (talk) 22:16, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birla Industrial & Technological Museum[edit]

Thanks for your note! It seems there is a confusion in the article. The history section mentions "The museum was opened to the public in 1954", and yet the date of formation as 2nd May, 1959 (as you mentioned). Now how can a museum be opened before its formation/ foundation date? It would seem that there is an error somewhere. Cheers !! Sidhu Jyatha (talk) 04:46, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 28[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited National Highway 117 (India), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joka (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 14:04, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nominated for FP[edit]

FYI Wikipedia:Featured_picture_candidates#Chicken_egg_without_shell Nominated for FP by me. Please have a look. Shivashree (talk) 08:11, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Shivashree,
My heartfelt thanks to you for the nomination with strong support. Biswarup Ganguly (talk) 15:33, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, the picture, in my opinion, is quite perfect to be FP, but there is some confusion regarding the white spot at the top as to if it is flashlight or airbubbles. I think it's air bubbles, but as the photographer, it would be best if you could clear the confusion there. And vote; your vote is important. Shivashree (talk) 05:22, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There is something like a water drop or a piece of egg shell on the white surface to the lower left of the egg as Spencer pointed out. Could you clone out it? -- Jkadavoor (talk) 16:48, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I uploaded a new version of the file. Thanks. Biswarup Ganguly (talk) 06:48, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Commons File naming[edit]

Please don't add - (dash) in file names specially in dates. Scripts and bots often change it to emdash which breaks the file name.-Tito Dutta (talk) 04:23, 12 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
