License tagging for File:War zone single.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:War zone single.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:06, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Klaytoninhishome.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 07:19, 19 June 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 07:19, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Angeldustband.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Angeldustband.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. - Jarry1250 [ humourousdiscuss ] 10:50, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Circle Of Dust (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 01:48, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Latin Metal[edit]

The article Latin Metal has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable music genre, questionable verifiability or provenance

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Stifle (talk) 21:40, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Latin Metal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

Orphaned non-free image (File:Wish Upon a Blackstar CHPT. 1.jpg)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Wish Upon a Blackstar CHPT. 1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. A tag has been placed on Blue Stahli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. A tag has been placed on Garuda (film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. noq (talk) 19:44, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, a number of your recent file uploads, such as File:Predatorsteaser.jpg, have been missing information regarding their copyright status. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and that the copyright status of all media files uploaded to Wikipedia must be verifiable by others. If you have questions regarding copyright on Wikipedia, they can be raised at the copyright question page. Thank you. --IllaZilla (talk) 05:42, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings ... your recent edit to Legendary Pictures has been reverted. While I believe you are working in good faith, Wikipedia is based on facts, not rumors. If you have a reliable source stating that Legendary Pictures will be making a Godzilla movie, please provide that prior to adding the information back to the article. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the article's talk page or on my talk page. Thanks, and happy editing! --McDoobAU93 (talk) 23:25, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Cainpapaerback.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cainpapaerback.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:30, 21 April 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 05:30, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Rambo3poster.jpg[edit]

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:GodzillaArtistImpression.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:GodzillaArtistImpression.jpg.

You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 16:15, 27 July 2010 (UTC). The article Blackstar (Celldweller) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable song. Does not meet criteria at WP:NSONG. No evidence of charting or reviews for example. Article has no sources.

The article David Callaham has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thanks for uploading File:Teaser Poster.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Battle of the Damned has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Subject lacks notability per WP:TOOSOON, only coverage seems to be in descriptive press releases

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Smcg8374 (talk) 06:38, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Battle of the Damned for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Battle of the Damned is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Battle of the Damned until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Smcg8374 (talk) 01:07, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Universal Soldiers Regeneration US DVD cover.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on No One Lives requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tinton5 (talk) 01:53, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removing Speedy at No One Lives[edit]

Hi GORIZARD, you recently removed a deletion tag from No One Lives. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove speedy deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the tag. Although the deletion proposal may be incorrect, removing the tag is not the correct way for you to contest the deletion, even if you are more experienced than the nominator. Instead, please use the talk page to explain why the page should not be deleted. Remember to be patient, there is no harm in waiting for another experienced user to review the deletion and judge what the right course of action is. As you are involved, and therefore potentially biased, you should refrain from doing this yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 02:03, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Orphaned non-free media (File:Universal Soldiers Day of Reckoning official poster.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Universal Soldiers Day of Reckoning official poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Block notices[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

GORIZARD (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I've been WRONGFULLY accused & blocked for "vandalism" by a user called TurokSwe. I made revisions to the pages Godzilla (1998) and Zilla and had reliable sources to back up my edits but this user, TurokSwe, DID NOT personally like what I contributed. He had me blocked for "vandalizing". Wikipedia CLEARLY STATES examples of vandalism include "adding irrelevant obscenities & crude humor to a page, illegitimately blanking pages, & inserting obvious nonsense into a page." NONE of which match what I've done. TurokSwe did not like what I had to contribute and took it upon himself to block me. He even THREATENED me not to add, remove, or make any further edits to the pages. He clearly said to me "I am warning you...", which I consider to be a threat. TurokSwe is going against Wikipedia guidelines. He's REFUSING to let anyone edit these pages and is MONOPOLIZING them to prevent future edits. I deserve to be unblocked because I have done nothing wrong. The only thing I've done was contribute my help to two wikipedia pages that are being monopolized by this single user. I even had facts to support my edits but TurokSwe had be blocked before I could add them. Please, do not let this injustice be tolerated. Please, appeal to my block and make an example of this user abusing his privileges.

Decline reason:

Please discuss your own actions, not those of the other users. You're not blocked for vandalism (although your actions were close to it), you're blocked for disruptive editing by repeatedly reverting two articles, removing referenced content without explanation. Max Semenik (talk) 07:34, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:

I've been blocked for "disruptive editing" and I have acknowledged the consequences of my actions. I will refrain from editing from the pages Godzilla (1998) and Zilla or contribute "disruptive editing" from here on end. I apologize.

Decline reason:

Not good enough. Please tell us why you felt the need to make repetitive vandalism edits, and what you now plan on editing if you stay away from the articles you have been vandalising. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 22:01, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It is unfortunate that you removed the declined warnings (now replaced), but I could accept that your action in doing so was due to inexperience. I would accept your answer to my question in your last unblock, but will defer to another admin to make the decision. GORIZARD (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I have realized the consequences of my actions. The reason I made revisions to the pages Godzilla (1998) and Zilla is because I was trying to correct some inaccuracies that didn't have sufficient reliable sources (only self concluded opinions) to support them and those inaccuracies are still present on both pages. I repeatedly brought back up my revisions when they were removed because I was attempting to complete them but I was blocked before I could finish. All I wish to do is correct the errors on both pages billed with unreliable sources and repeatedly bringing back up my revisions was a mistake on my part. I have learned the errors of my actions. I will refrain from editing both pages from here on end and examine what I edit and revise on wikipedia. Thank you for your time. GORIZARD (talk) 01:29, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

When I went to go check the history of Godzilla (1998 film), to see what types of edits you were making before, I saw that the most recent edit was by User:GORIZARD2, obviously also your account. Blocked means blocked, it does not mean that you can edit from an alternate account. If you wish to be unblocked, you need to request an unblock from here. At this point, since you've clearly not learned anything from the previous blocks, I don't see why this one should be granted. One thing that might possibly help you get unblocked at some point in the future would be if you, right now, declare any other accounts that you have. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:22, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. That account is also owned by me. I declare it. I used that account to further edit because the admins were taking too long to review my appeal. Wikipedia guidelines stated it would take several hours to review my request. It's been nearly a week and half.
Yeah, well, as I said, blocked means blocked. It means you, the person, cannot edit. Not under another account (new or old), and not as an IP. You may not edit so long as you are blocked. You may only edit if and when an admin accepts your unblock request. And since you deliberately edited around the block, that's now made it far less likely that you'll be unblocked any time in the near future. Especially since it proves you were lying above: you said if unblocked you would not edit Godzilla (1978 film), and that was one of the articles you edited with the other account. Qwyrxian (talk) 09:48, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's a bit wrong on two accounts. Yes, I did return to the Godzilla (1998 film) page but I DID NOT EDIT ANYTHING from the article page. I simply directed myself to the TALK PAGE and submitted an editing request to remove and add things on the article. I even provided a link to vouch the facts I was hoping to add to the page's Accolades section but I did not edit anything from the actual page itself and what I meant from what I said that "I learned my lesson" was that I would refrain from further "disruptive editing", I doubt anything I did qualifies as disruptive editing. I should have made myself clearer on that but none the less, I did not actually violate my own agreement because I didn't actually edit anything from said page's article.
To quote you, in the unblock notice above: "I will refrain from editing from the pages Godzilla (1998) and Zilla or contribute "disruptive editing" from here on end." You unambiguously broke the first part of that sentence. I'm not saying that what you did is disruptive, but that 1) you socked to get around a block, making you untrustworthy, and 2) did the opposite of what you promised to do in an earlier unblock request. So, you can try another unblock request if you want, and see what another admin says (I wouldn't review another unblock request myself). But you might be better off simply leaving the project for a while (the standard offer is six months) and then come back and try again. But it's up to you.
