Sorry if my previous message was a little terse. This merger had no discussion; it was just a suggestion by a single user several months ago who never initiated a discussion on the topic. I've undone the merge myself, and nominated the merged page for deletion. Sorry to have undone the work you put into it, but I feel the merger was unnecessary. Fair enough. Now that I've looked over the archived deletion discussions, it even looks like several people wanted them separate. So, good call.
