Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Education Under Fire, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Yunshui (talk) 11:56, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

promotionalism[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I deleted the article. No matter how obviously worth the cause, Wikipedia cannot be used to promote it. When the specific campaign has been discussed in references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases, or material derived from press releases, it may be possible to write an neutral article When you do, remember that it also needs to be written like an encyclopedia article, not a press release--don't praise the group or campaign, say what it is. Don't talk about the overall importance of the general subject--describe the specific subject, the campaign. Remember not to copy from a web site, even your own -- first it's a copyright violation, but, even if you own the copyright and are willing to give us permission according to WP:DCM, the tone will not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable.

If I can help you further, let me know on my user talk page. DGG ( talk ) 18:13, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Education Under Fire & Bahai Institute for Higher Education[edit]

Dear David, I have added several links to the BIHE Wiki page and would ask respectfully that you view these additions and advise as to whether they would warrant having a page for the Education Under Fire approved. I really do feel that these additions would qualify Education Under Fire as meeting the Wiki requirements for an entry. I look forward to your feedback. Help With Getting A Wiki Page Approved[edit]

I am so very lost in this process. I created a page for Education Under Fire a wile back that was deleted because it didn't meet the Wiki criteria. The very nice editor, DGG, advised me to add links and references to the Baha'i Institute for Higher Education page which I have been doing. Education Under Fire has since been referenced in news articles, on two TV interviews, and other various news outlets including CNN. I have asked the editor to please let me know if we meet the criteria, and have not heard back. Can anyone offer any advice or help me? This is such an important issue, and I understand that is not what qualifies a Wiki page, but I strongly believe all the new references would quality both Education Under Fire and the producer David Hoffman, wiki pages. Any assistance anyone can offer will be genuinely appreciated. I am including the references that I also put into the BIHE Wiki page.
