Literally from Tarlac.[edit]

Hello, it's a pleasure to edit and write on Wikipedia and joining is more out of annoyance than interest. Before coming here, many of the pages about our provinces have been made with many errors and others insist on their mistakes. As a native speaker of the Philippine language Filipino, Kapampangan or Pampangenyo as well as Ilocano and [[Pangasinense or Pangalatok, it seems offensive when seeing mis-translations of our language. You may have a translator but even translators can't get the in depth meaning of our language and dialects, besides, you probably won't find translators that can translate in Aeta, the language of our indigenous people along with Kapampangan which is my native tongue, using translators for Kapampangan, Filipino, tagalog, Sambal and Pangalatok seems "laughable" as they translate literally. For example. You're making a mistake if you translate "Magtay Nakun" which is sambal as "You dead" it's properly translated as "Die". "Bugok" which google translates as "addle egg" is more commonly used to describe "a person" as "Stupid or Rebellious". You probably have to Know, accept and use a language long enough to understand it, in short, don't think you know our language better if you can't really speak it. Teaching it for years probably gives me enough credibility doesn't it? there have been vandals in Wikipedia and people who mis-understand our language and edit accordingly to internet sources of little or no credibility are considerably vandals too. Hoping that Wikipedia users who read this will not be offended, here's the clarification , "this is not being obnoxious, it's a mere statement". :)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
