Almost Verbatim statements ripped from a sensationalist newspaper article with zero references cited can not be considered validated ... especially if the validity is sought from its same source. Please refrain from undoing extraordinary efforts. In Peace, 64.18.151.203 (talk) 08:02, 5 January 2020 (UTC) 64.18.151.203 (talk) 08:02, 5 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 12[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Homowo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yam (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:59, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Denarius[edit]

I am not edit warring, there was a mix up with another editor, he had submitted changes before refreshing his version of the site. Thank you for your concern. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carsenjk (talkcontribs) 19:35, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There was no mix-up, and it was you versus three other editors. Please stop trying to use Wikipedia to promote your product. Freezer Bernie (talk) 20:01, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Vandal has been reported[edit]

It's not urgent to revert their edits on Halle Berry - the article is protected and those changes won't be displayed in the article unless they're accepted. Once an admin blocks the IP, they'll rev-delete those edits as BLP violations. Thanks for your help! Schazjmd (talk) 21:14, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, just noticed that it was protected. Not to worry, I won't clutter the edit history with further reverts. :-) Freezer Bernie (talk) 21:16, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Same person hit that article last night with identical edits, so as soon as I saw them back, I reported. I wasted a lot of time last night edit-warring with them before I realized it was silly when it's a protected article. Schazjmd (talk) 21:19, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 19[edit]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Christine Riordan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Provost (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).

Dear Freezer Bernie[edit]

This is the worst communication user interface it's ever been my misfortune to encounter, but I'll try to keep up. Is this REALLY where I have a chat with you about an edit i made to a page and you reverted? Thank you for the 25-words-or-less description of how to write to another wikipedia person. I have a note from GorillaWarfare that I'd love to respond to but so far nothig I've tried has worked. Help? TIA. TheyoungmanandtheC (talk) 01:15, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. User:Gorillawarfare has since responded at their user talk page: sometimes it takes time for people to get back online. The best place to discuss Michael Savage is at the article's talk page, Talk:Michael Savage. It's on my watchlist, so I'll see any questions or comments you post there.
But if you have any general questions about editing policy, then asking me here is fine. Thanks, 09:18, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

2020 in British radio[edit]

Thanks for fixing this, an alert came up when I updated the page earlier, and I did a search but couldn't work out what was wrong with it. This is Paul (talk) 19:09, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're welcome! They can be a little tricky to spot sometimes. Freezer Bernie (talk) 19:17, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dabs[edit]

Hi, thanks for your edit on BSO disco. I notice that you are getting messages from my old mate DPL bot. In order to avoid these messages, consider setting (at top right hand corner of this page) Preferences → Gadgets → Appearance → to "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange". This will instantly indicate that you have linked to such one of these pages: the article you were hoping to link to may well be found there. Even so, I have found through bitter experience that the only sure-fire way to make a WL is to physically open the WP article in question, and copy and paste its main title. There are all sorts of accents and diacriticals which aren't immediately obvious, even though some are covered by redirects. Best wishes, >MinorProphet (talk) 18:00, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:02, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
