A tag has been placed on Ayla Reynolds requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dengero (talk) 23:50, 17 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I deleted both articles. Our purpose is not this--we have a very specific policy as WP:BLP that this sort of event does not give reason to make a WP article. There are more appropriate media for dissemination of this sort of information. Please do not try to enter any more such articles. DGG ( talk ) 00:12, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Slums Map[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Slums Map requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Status and Advice[edit]

another user redirected this to the game. I agree with that--we do not normally make articles about items of this sort within fiction--and especially such an short article gives no information that isn't better there. But we hope you'll contribute here-- but it's best not to start by making new articles. Instead, see our page about all the useful and interesting things to do here. DGG ( talk ) 00:12, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks but no thanks please don't judge me. I can create and try to learn the system. You should really have an adoption program here. --Fpw2kd (talk) 00:15, 18 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed we do--we have several. One way is to go to Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area and follow either of the two routes there. Another way is to go to Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions and ask for some help in figuring out what articles are worth creating,
I'm fully involved in other things, so I unfortunately cannot do it myself, (I try to screen as many new articles as possible, so it decreases the time I can spend with any one user--this is one of the things where there's an regrettable but inevitable trade-off). However, hundreds of people are eager to help in this way. One reason we advise not starting an article at the start is because figuring out which ones are worth starting is one of the more complicated things here--there are a great number of rules or various levels of stringency. You've already doing well--you've added a useful redirect to a an important article. I apologize for sounding a little curt about the other two articles, but biography of living people is subject to many special rules to insure that we do no harm (they're at WP:BLP]] -- it's something we are very careful and sensitive about, because of our great prominence.
There are some other good advice pages for getting started: see Help:Getting started or Wikipedia:Tutorial or WP:Starting an article or Wikipedia:Your first article or Wikipedia:Article wizard. I quote from that last page "It's highly recommended that you try editing a few existing articles before you create your first article. We care deeply that our articles are right, and incorrectly formatted and unreferenced articles are often deleted. Learning a bit of our house style first increases your chances of success." That's what I did when I started here, though I had many years experience with writing all sorts of things, on and off the web. And WP was much simpler back then, 6 years ago.
