Ifan Knott moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Ifan Knott, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Welsh rabbit[edit]

In this edit, you changed "British dish" to "Welsh dish" and marked the edit as minor. The article clearly states that there is no good evidence that this is a dish that comes from Welsh cuisine. The edit is obviously controversial and it is dishonest to mark it as "minor". --Macrakis (talk) 19:02, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's been popular in Cymru since at least the 1500s under the name of ‘caws pobi’. Key staple of the Welsh Valleys in the 1500s. It is not dishonest and it is clearly anti-welsh to state anything other then that it is a Welsh dish.

Disambiguation link notification for March 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2021–22 Forest Green Rovers F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Andy Cook. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Infobox timestamps[edit]

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 21:57, 20 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

City status[edit]

Hi, please don't change the eight settlements that have been announced that they would be awarded city status to be an actual city, they remain towns for now until each local council receives a letters patent officially awarding the status, likely in a few months. This approach was used for Southend-on-Sea which was announced it would become a city in October 2021, but was officially made one in March 2022. See last paragraph of this BBC article for an example source. Many Thanks - DankJae (talk) 16:02, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
