This page is great work. However, there might be problems with the value of information of the "expected" products expecially as they are majority in that table. It is tempting to include some "rumored" info which might seem interesting at first, but then goes empty... What I personally try is to stick to the facts as much as possible.--Kozuch (talk) 21:37, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, basically my very specific criteria for including anything is whether it helps to answer the question of whether I should buy an Eee PC or wait. FWIW, rumors, leaks, and vague announcements count in that respect, which makes this different from a Wikipedia article in the main namespace. —Fleminra (talk) 23:13, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Table formatting[edit]

Nice table .. but it doesn't render well on IE (fine on Firefox). Any chance of adding   in the empty cells? quota (talk) 09:58, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fine with me. Naturally though I don't have IE so I can't test it. —Fleminra (talk) 00:52, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's your page, please add them ... or I'd be happy to, and test, but need your permission.]
Thanks for adding them! quota (talk) 10:53, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Elonex ONE[edit]

I think Elonex ONE is ready for a page in main namespace as the product launches today.--Kozuch (talk) 00:00, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah-but ,, not 'available' until June 2008... quota (talk) 21:17, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

QUANTEL[edit]

I think we could track here interesting low-cost linux/non-linux notebooks too. Adding the first one:

  • QUANTEL (AMD LX800 500mhz, 10", 512,60 GB,LINUX / XP,WIFI,2 USB ports,SD/MMC,PCMCIA 2.1,1.2 kg) [2] [3] [4]

--Kozuch (talk) 21:23, 14 March 2008 (UTC) Not a notebook, but also Linux:[reply]

  • Asus EEE desktop PC shots [6] (Czech)
Yeah, it's cool with me. Personally, I'll probably soon be in the market for a small-form-factor Linux HTPC (as well as one of these sub-notebooks). —Fleminra (talk) 02:26, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by beint in this market?--Kozuch (talk) 15:58, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I mean I might be involved in this market, on the consumer side — i.e., buy one. (If I'm not being too presumptuous, have a look at [7].) —Fleminra (talk) 18:08, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, rolling out your own gadget still takes some more effort ;).--Kozuch (talk) 20:05, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
