I have restored some (but not all) of the contents you removed from the homophobia controversy section, since it is my opinion that your edits removed important information that gave context to the event. Specifically, your edits removed mentions of how the coach and the management reacted to the incident, which further exacerbated the incident and turned it into a much bigger controversy.
I believe you have the best of intentions when you removed the excessive materials, but your edits had the unfortunate side effect of trivializing an incident related to homophobia in soccer (which is serious), as well as making it look like we are censoring ourselves to Phoenix Rising's benefit.
