Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:10, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

July 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Adamgerber80. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistan Army, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adamgerber80 (talk) 18:25, 10 July 2018 (UTC) @Adamgerber, I had those information from some Pakistani books like 'The Betrayal of East Pakistan', 'A Stranger in My Own Country, East Pakistan: 1969-1971' etc. Fayaz Rahman (talk) 03:48, 11 July 2018 (UTC) @Adamgerber, some information is without references, I live in Pakistan and know so many things about my country, but I don't hate India, PAKISTAN ZINDABAD. Note[edit]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Disambiguation link notification for July 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Kurkure, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Puja (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:18, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Love marriage, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give The Mumbai Xpress a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 13:10, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Nudity in film, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Ways to improve Ekti Khuner Swapna[edit]

Hi, I'm Slatersteven. Fayaz Rahman, thanks for creating Ekti Khuner Swapna!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Well better formatted ones at least.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Slatersteven (talk) 12:24, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Slatersteven, see the page now, is that okay? Fayaz Rahman (talk) 12:34, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You should not really have removed the tags yourself, yes it is better but need expansion. At this time it would (I think) fail an AFD. You need more sourcing.Slatersteven (talk) 12:39, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction[edit]

The following sanction now applies to you:

You must provide a reliable source for any addition to an article in this topic area (India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan). Failure to do so will result in blocks of escalating length.

You have been sanctioned for continued disruption in this area.

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/India-Pakistan#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. NeilN talk to me 03:28, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Abhay - Original Soundtrack.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free movie album cover being used in WP:DECORATIVE manner in Aalavandhan#Soundtrack. Non-free cover art for movie soundtrack albums can be used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox or at the top of stand-alone articles about album in question, but they are pretty much never allowed to be used in subsections of articles about the corresponding film per WP:NFCC#8, WP:NFC#cite_note-3 or WP:FILMSCORE, unless the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary to provide the context required for non-free use. That's not the case with this file, so there's no way to justify its non-free use per WP:NFCCP.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:54, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
