A tag has been placed on Ted Ming, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Bermuda Strollers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Joe Chill (talk) 00:56, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Articles[edit]

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia so the topics have to be notable. Wikipedia is not a place to make things well known because they have to already be well known to have an article. Joe Chill (talk) 01:09, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to work on the articles so that they don't get speedily deleted, you can work on the article in your personal sandbox: User:Eypcrew2/Ted Ming and User:Eypcrew2/Bermuda Rollers and then move them into article space when you are done. Joe Chill (talk) 01:11, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Echoing Joe's sentiments - take the time to get your sources together and do a proper article. That way, you won't have to worry about deletions or process until the article is ready. UltraExactZZ Claims ~ Evidence 16:51, 10 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
