helpme[edit]

if i edit an article without signing my name, how can someone know that it was i who edit the article?

Every article has a "history" tab at the top. In the history, you can view who made every single edit to a page. That is why we never sign in articles (but remember to sign on talk pages)--Commander Keane 01:28, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
More:
You should never sign your name when you edit an article; that is only done on talk pages... (like this page and Talk:wikipedia)... The way they can see is the little tab at the top of all Wikipedia pages that says "History"; it states all the changes made to the page, by whom, and what they changed (also all the previous versions). Check it out right now on your user talk page... my username should appear on it...... If you have any more questions please feel free to contact me on my talk page. Sometimes when i m browsing through articles i see that i have messages, when i check i see that someone from my ip has been editing articles (vandalising), i don't know how my ISP works and how many people use this IP adderess. Now i have two questions. 1- Can i get banned because of this? 2- i just logged in so will i only see those messeges (that i have been vandalising articles) if i m not logged in or it dosent matter because i still have the same ip even that i m logged in.

When logged in, you do not receive these messages. Your IP, and therefore you, could be blocked from editing for this vandalism, but usually the block will only block anonymous IPs, not registered user accounts, so it would usually not affect you if you were logged in. —Centrxtalk • 22:57, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

the image http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Logo_l.jpg has been tagged with "This image's fair-use status is disputed, because of the following concern: no fair use rationale given"

Its the logo of the game we play and we have permission to use that image by the owner, so what should we do to remove the tag and make it legal?

File:Logo l.jpg

Here it is ^ I agree, really can't be assed going through the tags.. already tried for 30 mins --JRA WestyQld2 14:05, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
