Draft

I saw the draft from the link on your userpage and it looks reasonably neutral to me. Things to avoid are "greatest artist ever" unless you can quote a reliable source that calls him that (or anything else - see WP:PEACOCK and WP:NPOV.

It would also help if you used inline citations. This is fairly easy to do - basically you just add a ref tag and put the material in it like this: <ref>Smith, John. ''Big Book of Famous Artists'', Some Publisher, 1999, pp 45-56.</ref></ref>. Then you put this after the sentence(s) it needs to back up, and put {{reflist}} at the bottom in a References section, so

I would keep the extra references and use them if possible. On Wikipeida notability is established by multiple refs to different reliable sources, so sourcing eveything to one ref would be bad (make the subject appear less notable).

I prefer conversations on Wikipedia talk pages (not email) as they make things more transparent. Please don't forget to sign your posts with four ~ and it is generally a good idea to add new posts to the bottom of tal pages (not the top). Clicking on the new section tab does this automatically. You can also continue discussion in a section (like I am here).

Finally model articles are always good for ideas and examples to follow - our best work is Featured articles (FA) and El Greco is an FA on an artist that may be a good model. Henry Moore is a FA too. Ruhrfisch _><>°^° 17:10, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

I combined two refs using the ref name = "blah" trick. You can do the same for the others. I think the name of his third ship is wrong - there does not appear to have been a ship ever named "USS General Omar Bradley" - see List of United States Navy ships: G-H. There was a USS General Omar Bundy which is from the right era and ocean. COuld this be it instead? Tourmaline existed, but is a red link (no article yet). I would also go back and add the wikilink to the bio when it is moved to mainspace (instead of the external link to his official webpage). Ruhrfisch _><>°^° 19:30, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

I first saw your edit to the article List of people from York, Pennsylvania, where you added him as "Stephen M. Etnier" (external link to the official website). Once the article is in main space, it should be linked as a wikilink, Stephen M. Etnier. I was looking to add wikilinks to the draft, which is how I found the ship error. The images of the piantings are very nice - it might be useful to add their dates to the captions. It is possible someone may question the copyright status, if so you may need to go through the Wikipedia:OTRS system, but that is a bridge to cross only if needed. At the end of "Final Years" there are two hyperlinks. They also appear as last two items in the reference section.

Perhaps I put them in OK, but it doesn't seem right to me. Seems like the hyperlinks at the end of "Final Years" should just be numbers pointing to the References section?
