My vote in Articles for Deletion: Rake Free[edit]

This discussion was only open for less than 3 hours, not nearly enough time for anyone to voice an opinion. Therefore, it is only fair for me to leave my opinion on that page for future reference. Otherwise, I might feel that you would have infringed upon my freedom of speech. As more content is added to Rake(Poker), more people will wonder why there isn't an article about "Rake Free", so the discussion will help them understand all sides of the Rake Free debate.Cloudreaver 23:43, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion page is not the same as main page[edit]

I cannot accept my voice to be on the discussion page, as the main page is the first and most important page that users see. As I stated before, the "discussion" was not even a true discussion, for the debate was only open for 2 hours and 24 minutes. The stated policy was for Articles for Deletion to be open for at least 1 week. How can anyone's voices be heard in 2 hours and 24 minutes? I believe that for the good of the community, exceptions can be made in certain circumstances. See WP:IAR for more information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cloudreaver (talkcontribs)

Block me if you want, but I will stand by my beliefs[edit]

I will stand by my beliefs and state my voice and opinion. Do what you must. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cloudreaver (talkcontribs)

The Rake Free article will eventually go through a deletion review. I have not yet prepared for that moment, so I will wait until I am ready. Regardless, I still disagree with your inflexibility with the rules. After all, the rules were made by other users like you and me. Cloudreaver 00:13, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Block of 195.92.40.49[edit]

Your block on the above IP is stopping me editing using one of the machines I use (I assume it's just an auto-block). Could you review the type of block you have used so it doesn't stop logged in users via that IP. Thanks. David Underdown 08:34, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please can you tell me why I have been blocked for vandalising the jimmy nail page when I have never edited that page and a quick lock at the history will show that my user ID goatan has never ever edited that page nor read it until today. I think I have got caught in the cross fire because I currently have the same IP can you unblock me please as there is an AFD I wish to participate in, it also looks like I am not the only one your block has affected.Goatan 11:24, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just want to pass a note thanking you for the civility in tone that you have conducted yourself in the conversation on the Ram Vaswani page and on the reliable sources page. It certainly makes dialogue easier and more productive. I do want to clarify that it is not the reporting of tournament results per se, that I'm most concern with. (Though ideally I would have liked the actual tournament's sites or a news article) but rather it's the personal data that is taken from the Hendon site and other similarly not-so-stellar sources. I do want to acknowledge the hard work you have done on this and other articles. You are very serious and dedicated editor and I enjoy working with you towards getting some kind of consensus and compromise.Agne 03:01, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
