My suggestion is to click on the "sandbox" link that appears at the top of the page, which should bring you to User:EquiDocG/sandbox which will have a blank editing space. From there, you can paste in your new draft, save it and work on it at your leisure. When you are ready to swap over the article, give me a shout and I'll look at it to see what needs to happen before it goes "live."
