Creating Joshua travagli[edit]

hi i just created an article for Joshua travagli but for some reason it is deleted can you help me with getting it published. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ynaps (talkcontribs) 18:27, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The article Marius Obekop has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Player fails WP:NFOOTY and WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. December 2013[edit]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Brian Sarmiento, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. GiantSnowman 18:30, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I didnt put my point of view, I mentioned what was indicated in the article. If that were a violation you might as well deleted every wikipedia page.
No, you did - phrases like "affection of the fans" and "spark of the bench" are not appropriate, and in fact your general writing tone is weak, as it is clear that English is not your first language. If you wish to improve the article I am more than happy to help. GiantSnowman 18:38, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the spanish articles it indicates what I said, so how can you improve the article, as I was planning to add more to it, If you want to improve it I'm willing to listen to suggestions. No need to be insulting in the process.

Some sources have been removed as they do not meet WP:RS. Of the sources that remain, what they actually say and what you added are not the same. GiantSnowman 18:50, 28 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think you did a great job improving the player's page, but i have contributed too, reinstating much of my hard-earned storyline and sourcing it. Two pointers though man: 1 - if the loans are ref'd, no need to make SOCCERWAY.com more than what it is, a mere link (BTW, i think the links you now added do not harm a soul, do not know why they keep being removed); 2 - please, he is not a pure striker by no means OK?

Happy 2014 (belatedly) and happy editing, cheers --AL (talk) 16:42, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • No reply? Fair enough, sorry to have bothered you. --AL (talk) 02:44, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry for not responding earlier, have been caught up with other things, thanks for your comments and for your corrections. No bother at all. Thanks again. --User:Elopez76

Ah that's a relief, thought you were angry at me for some action/comment i could have made. Happy editing --AL (talk) 16:04, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Leandro Barrera, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Forward, Godoy Cruz and Mendoza (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Leo Stolz, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Infobox dates[edit]

Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions was not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 20:02, 2 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
