article choices[edit]
The two biographies seem like solid choices, if you can find some good sources. The Book of Optics article is really bare, but it's actually covered in moderate detail in the Alhazen article, and even more detail in a reverted version of the Book of Optics article. Check out the talk page: Talk:Book_of_Optics#re_stub. If you do tackle that one, the best approach might be to begin with that old version and start verifying that the cited sources actually back up what is in that version. (The editor who wrote much of that version was banned because of "abuse of sources", but some of it is probably good, and reading the sources yourself will put you on the right track.)
