To prevent abuse, account creation via this IP address is probably also disabled. If editing is required for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at unblock-en-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school-issued email address, telling us your preferred username. An account will be created for you. Please check on this list that the username you choose has not already been taken. Thank you.  :

Decline reason: Almost did it, since this account's contribs are legit, but the IP is now believed to be an open proxy or zombie we have to keep it hardblocked until we can be sure it isn't. And I am not qualified to evaluate that. I will post on AN for someone who can, though. — Daniel Case (talk) 15:06, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This was discussed on AN here. Daniel Case (talk) 02:51, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocked[edit]

Hi Eceresa, you were unfortunately caught up in a hardblock of 64.88.86.3 (talk · contribs) because it was an open proxy. They're usually hardblocked because they're often used abusively. This IP seems to be a poorly configured proxy since it still has several open ports. However, none of them seem to be useable anymore, so I've unblocked it. Hopefully the school's IT department will eventually fix this. Spellcast (talk) 16:06, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Josh White, Jr.[edit]

A tag has been placed on Josh White, Jr. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rnb (talk) 17:11, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, since you recently participated in an RfC at Campaign for "santorum" neologism, I thought you might be interested in this proposal for renaming the article, or perhaps another of the rename proposals on the page. Best, BeCritical 22:08, 14 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
