Jackson Lab

Ok, I'll bite -- why does Jackson Lab get a UMaine Nav box? And why have a UMS Nav Box when they're already included in the Universities in Maine navbox? --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 17:11, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

From what I understand, Jackson Lab is closely associated with the University of Maine. They share research, faculty and graduate students and often collaborate on projects (see this). I didn't realize there was already an infobox that included all the maine public universities. eaglecorpse (talk) 17:32, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

"Closely associated" is a pretty loose term - by that definition, there are probably 50 organizations associated with Jax. Likewise, MPBN is closely associated with UMaine in name only - they split from the university over 15 years ago.... Scolbath (talk) 14:58, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Looking for source for beer die

Hey eaglecorpse, im trying to narrow down the origins of beer die. Proposed deletion of Publish2

The article Publish2 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article for journalism startup that shows no evidence of having taken off. The only third-party source is TechCrunch, which is listed on WP:RSP as a source that is not so useful for determining notability. A WP:BEFORE shows a bit of launch publicity in 2010; the site stopped updating in 2013. There's no evidence this was ever notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
