Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Nurses in Red[edit]

Thanks for your talk at the Wikimedia UK event. I'm interested in your work on nursing as I've started some medical topics which touch on that such as Proning and Fever hospital. If you need any help or organise another event then feel free to get in touch. Thanks for your edits[edit]

I noticed you have been editing some health-related articles, and I wanted to say that a bunch of us hang out at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Medicine. You're welcome to join us if that's an area of editing that interests you. It's a good place to ask questions about finding good sources for medical content or writing style. Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Nursing is smaller, or you might also be interested in Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Women's Health. Feel free to put any of the groups' pages on your watchlist, or stop by to say hello some time. It's a good way for editors to support each other. North Riding Infirmary[edit]

Hi - I have transferred your excellent work on the North Riding Infirmary to a new article in that name. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 17:41, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

haha - I deliberated whether there was enough to do this as a separate page, but was getting tired. I pulled it out of the history of middlesbrough and into the settlement page where I felt it was better. I am only on my phone, did you use that great photo? Thanks again, ELMatronmaker (talk) 18:54, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. The photo had already been uploaded to Wikimedia commons so it was easy to access. Please feel free to expand the article. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 18:58, 4 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hi ELMatronmaker. Thank you for your work on Royal East Sussex Hospital. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for starting this page for the hospital, and as a place to discuss the contributions of Ellen Louisa Schlegel! I hope that the series of articles linked to Eva Luckes goes well!

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hi ELMatronmaker. Thank you for your work on Emily Jackson Children's Hip Hospital. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thank you for another in the series on the work of influential nursing staff. Despite the fact that the buildings have a current use, I agree that the subject is best listed under its earliest name. However, it would be helpful to have more of a focus on why this particular hospital was important - for example, was it unique in its treatment of this condition in some way, or innovative in its methods? Or is the argument, perhaps, that Emily Jackson is notable, and that she and the hospital are most appropriately discussed together?

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Klbrain (talk) 18:37, 11 May 2024 (UTC) @Klbrain: thanks for for your message. I do not know whether this Hip Hospital is unique. During this period there were specialist hospitals for children, such as eyes and skeletal. If you can find more information about the hospital that would be good. I don't think that Emily meets the notability criteria for her own page as she does not have any post nominals-I don't currently have time to go to the Kent Archives and do more research/ see what there is. Thanks[reply]
