Disambiguation link notification for February 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Pink, Oklahoma, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fort Reno (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 16:59, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

External links[edit]

Thank you for your work on the article about Pink, Oklahoma. I tagged this article because it has too many external links in the text. External links are links from Wikipedia pages to web content outside of Wikipedia. Wikipedia's editing guidelines say that external links "should not normally be placed in the body of an article" and "must conform to certain formatting restrictions". The main point is that external links, where otherwise appropriate (for example, because they point to a relevant reliable source), should usually placed either in footnotes or in the "External links" section at the end of the article, not in the body of the text.

Since I added this tag, I see that you have deleted a few such external links, but you have also removed a number of wikilinks, which are links to other pages within Wikipedia. For the most part, these wikilinks appear to be appropriate, and didn't need to be removed. Thanks again for your contributions to Wikipedia. --Arxiloxos (talk) 14:49, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The offending links have been removed and the page updated with appropriate links to other pages in Wikipedia. I believe you can remove the tag since it no longer applies. EB Norris (talk) 19:55, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
