Borel sets[edit]

Hello, are you sure the use of "Borel set" term in the article on Haar measure is the standard one? See for example this MathOverflow question --Cokaban (talk) 10:04, 23 January 2013 (UTC).[reply]

I am sure that it is __not__ the standard one. That's why I posted on the talk page: [1] asking about this. But as long as the article states that Halmos's conventions are used then it is inaccurate to say that open sets are Borel. Dottyhill (talk) 15:51, 14 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
