Please stop your disruptive editing. Again. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia like that or that, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.--Uptownboy (talk) 08:26, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have added the album's artwork, cleaned-up the text as per the rules, added references where necessary, so how can you class this as vandalism? DoctorMaster2010 (talk) 09:33, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Two versions of the album will be released - one with Mark and Nicky on the cover, and the other featuring Shane and Kian. - What Is It? You added things to articles which are WP:CRYSTAL and unsourced. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a personal fan page of hopes and dreams. If you have valid information then it must be sourced. http://i55.tinypic.com/2z4k12t.jpg - it is not source. File:Westlifegravity.jpg is unofficial cover and has bad licensing.--Uptownboy (talk) 09:06, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have looked at Wikipedia's rules and have seen that my edits would be vandalism. I am sorry for this and will not vandalise the article anymore.DoctorMaster2010 (talk) 09:32, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Promise This, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Could you also tell me how "Promise This" pays homage to "Alouette"? Coming from Acadia, I can tell you that the songs are not similar at all, with the exception of the French word "alouette" being repeated in the song. Please do not add unsourced information to Wikipedia. Also, do not change release dates when they are clearly indicated in sources. Thank you. Yves (talk) 07:59, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I am sorry about added the incorrect information to Promise This, i was only trying to correct the tracklisting but ended up reverting information. I will not do this in future. Thank you.DoctorMaster2010 (talk) 09:36, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Stay the Night (James Blunt song). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please do not make edits like this. The "the" should obviously not be capitalized. Thank you. Can you also tell me why you insist on capitalizing coordinating conjunctions shorter than five letters? If you read WP:CAPS, you will know that this is not to be done. This includes words like "the", "of", "in", "on", "with", "for", "from", etc., i.e. do not capitalize these unless they are at the beginning of a sentence. Thank you. Yves (talk) 08:19, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will stop capitalizing these conjunctions. I have made effective and correct edits to Stay The Night now and i hope these are fine.DoctorMaster2010 (talk) 09:37, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And the next thing you do is capitalise them again... please stop. Some of the edit I reverted appears constructive, feel free to reinstate the information you added about the album (though preferrably with better references than ebay and hmv, and in a more appropriate section). Since you changed every instance of "the" to "The" in the title, it was more trouble than it's worth to manually undo all that, and you've already been informed of policy on capitalisation. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 08:43, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Addition: please do not change quotes (i.e. "chipper" to "chirpy") or interlanguage links (i.e. "Stay the Night (James Blunt)" to "Stay The Night") as you have done in this edit and this edit. Thank you. Yves (talk) 08:48, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Stay the Night (James Blunt song), you may be blocked from editing. Yves (talk) 14:45, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And you are doing it again. Why are you not listening? Did you not say, "I will stop capitalizing these conjunctions"? And now you're re-re-capitalizing them. I will keep on reverting your disruptive edits until you listen. Yves (talk) 14:45, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Stay the Night (James Blunt song), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have been repeatedly warned about inappropriate capitalisation and reverted multiple times; your edits now can only be seen as vandalism. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 10:37, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • You have been warned. And you continuously make the same changes, even changing interlanguage links! One more capitalization of an uncapitalized word, and you'll be blocked, guaranteed. Yves (talk) 15:56, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Blue (group). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. This is the last warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits; the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Sorry but I've had to warn you, don't add references inside the headings as this messes them up, you should instead add a reference after any statement you think needs to be sourced--Lerdthenerd (talk) 08:38, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Temporary block[edit]

I see that there are several problems with your editing, including removing Articles for Deletion notices from articles, and persistently edit warring. The amount of unhelpful editing is enough to justify a block. However, I do not think that the messages from other users have been as helpful as they might have been, and for that reason I will not impose a prolonged block. Some of the editing which has been described as "vandalism" seems to me to be not vandalism, but well-intentioned editing which does not conform to Wikipedia standards, perhaps because of lack of experience. The main problem seems to be that you are determined to make the edits you want, without regard to the opinions of others, or the standards established on Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia:Consensus and Wikipedia:Edit warring. In addition you must not remove "Articles for Deletion" notices. At present I am giving you a short block, for just 24 hours. When the block expires I hope you will return to editing, but make sure you edit in cooperation with others. If you wish to make edits which are disputed by others do not simply keep repeating them, but discuss your reasons on the talk page of the relevant article, and try to reach agreement. Also be prepared to accept that sometimes consensus will be against you, in which case you must not make the changes you would have liked. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:37, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:37, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just to add, perhaps my previous warnings could have been clearer; the warnings which came before gave the impression that this had already been explained (though I do note that to a certain extent, it has, and I did attempt to explain some of the issues above). You have been repeatedly changing "Stay the Night" to "Stay The Night", along with several similar capitalisations in Stay the Night (James Blunt song), which are against our naming policy, which myself and other users have already attempted to explain, to the extent that continuing to reinstate these changes appears very much like intentional disruption, given the fact that you've made no attempt to discuss the matter with any of us but have clearly noticed the comments we've left. At the very least this was edit warring, which is what James has blocked you for. You need to be aware that communicating with other editors and discussing issues like this is an important part of the process of building the encyclopaedia and if you continue to ignore established consensus (including our policies and guidelines, such as the naming conventions), you're liable to simply end up blocked again. If you have any concerns then discuss them with us, rather than simply reinstating the edits after we've explained their reversion. If you need help with anything specific you can ask me on my talk page once your block expires. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 12:55, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please tell me why you consistently insist on capitalizing words like "the", "in", and "to", among others, when they are not at the beginning of songs? You have been blocked for not listening to users telling you this is disruptive editing and incorrect, yet you still do it here, here, and here? Yves (talk) 22:02, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Only You (Album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Tassedethe (talk) 14:26, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

SuperCity website[edit]

If you would like to create an article for the McFly website SuperCity, DO NOT continue to hijack and overwrite the existing SuperCity article which is about something else. That article has the right to exist and the thing it is about (a Mexican retail store) does not deserve to be wiped out just because you would like to promote some website with the same name. What you should do is start a new article with a different name, such as SuperCity (website). And by the way, an article about that website is unlikely to survive anyway because of issues with notability and promotion. --DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:16, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Hollywood swinging.jpeg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Insufficiently supported by critical commentary. Not contextually significant to the song.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:02, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
