Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Debby Ryan. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. – Novice7 (talk) 07:43, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Whitney Houston[edit]

... is not a songwriter because she's co-written a couple of songs. A songwriter is someone who makes a living from writing songs. Someone who writes songs for themselves and for others. To best of my knowledge, Houston does not frequently write songs for other artists. It is for this same reason she's not considered a record producer. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 14:46, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't edit Dion's article. Its impossible for me to alone enforce that this rule/logic however that doesn't mean that why I encounter it I won't pull people up on it..., — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:15, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Again thats WP:OR, she does not actually produce records. Executive producers are simply people who decide the final order of songs, which songs make the album etc... Houston is not accomplished or recognised as a record producer. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:22, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
