Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Maidstone page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Jza84 · (talk) 18:48, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, and thanks for the contact.
I can see you're quite new to Wikipedia so I'll try not to bite... However, I'm afraid that your entry is not suitable for the Maidstone article. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia and, as a means to that end, an online community of people interested in building a high-quality encyclopedia in a spirit of mutual respect. However, Wikipedia is NOT a directory or an indiscriminate collection of information. Simillarly, Wikipedia is not a free web host for advertising; WP:N is an inclusion criterion based on encyclopedic suitability of a topic for a Wikipedia article of which your contribution does not meet, whilst WP:SPAM outlines that the promotion of personal services (regardless of making profeit) are forbidden.
Finally, as you've shared with me that you are connected with the charity, you are in breach of our conflict of interest guidlines. As stated, Wikipedia is not a free web host. Try to consider how notable the claim is. Can you imagine Encarta or Britannica publishing your claim?-- it is unlikely they would as it is not generally helpful to the population looking for material about the town.
If you take an interest in Wikipedia, please take some time to take a look at our welcome page. If you're interested in writing about places in the UK, WP:UKCITIES is a guideline on what should be included. I hope that helps, -- Jza84 · (talk) 19:10, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
