Thank you.

A tag has been placed on User:Destroyshesaid, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mean as custard (talk) 08:11, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedy deleted because...[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... the information that has been provided is purely factual, relating to the formation, performances and recording history of a band or group of musicians. Where possible at all times the author has provided all links and content to provide a basis for evidence. The article isn't there to provide unambiguous advertising, it is there to provide information relating to the Melbourne band Destroy She Said. --Destroyshesaid (talk) 22:36, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See section G11 where it states: An article about a company or a product which describes its subject from a neutral point of view does not qualify for this criterion. The article on Destroy She Said contains no subjective matter whatsoever. It serves only to inform the reader of the band, its members and its discography. Nothing else. The article in question describes the band from a neutral point of view. --Destroyshesaid (talk) 04:39, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Both {{db-spam}} and {{db-band}}; I probably would have deleted it for the latter reason. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 07:33, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
