Since when has nominating an article for good article become a crime?

I guess you own Wikipedia? Adrian Guildford (talk) 09:52, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

GAN and Adrian 8076

DespressedPer, I wanted to thank you for noticing that Adrian 8076 had done drive-by nominations of so many articles, and took action to revert most of them. Your reversions were themselves reverted, but I've restored the status quo ante by reverting the reversions or undoing the original nominations. (I also posted my reasoning to the talk page of Checkingfax, who had reverted you.)

I have extended these reversions back to both Adele and Pope Francis, since these were also drive-by nominations—Adrian 8076 hadn't done any work on the articles at all, and if you want to nominate an article at GAN that you haven't worked on, you're supposed to consult first with the people who are actively working on the article, which wasn't done. Both articles are currently rated C class, the Adele article is almost certainly in flux due to her recent album release, and Pope Francis was failed at GA two months ago—have the issues from that review even been addressed?

All fifteen nominations have been reverted. If any of the regular contributors feel that one of these is ready to be nominated, they are welcome to nominate the article themselves. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:04, 20 January 2016 (UTC)

Hope Chapman -> Jacob Hope Chapman on ANN reviews

Please update the accessdate on the ANN reviews where Hope Chapman has changed the name to Jacob Hope Chapman. Do not change the name where the article does not show the name change. The reviewer is not notable enough to have an independent Wikipedia article, so this will keep things consistent with sources presented (linking to name presented at the time of the article or the updated accessdate because the article author name changed) and not introduce synthesis. Thanks. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 04:27, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

Someone removed 'Various Artists' in "List of 2000s one-hit wonders in the United States" page

I knew that someone removed the 'various artists' entry at 2006 section and it was really looked like bizarre. It was "Across The Universe", right. So, are 'Various Artists' still a part of inclusion in "List of 2000s one-hit wonders in the United States"? TheSkinsAdded (talk) 06:11, 20 March 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 13

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Question

I happened to notice your edit summary on the talk page for Battle of the Bastards, and The Door (Game of Thrones), I believe, and saw you removed the GAN because the article was "up for speedy deletion." I wasn't the one who nominated the articles, and don't have anything against you removing the GAN notice, but was confused by your edit summary, as a primary contributor to both articles, so I was hoping for some clarification. Thanks. Calibrador (talk) 03:10, 22 June 2016 (UTC)

Hey

Hey DepressedPer! I absolutely hate pestering other Wikipedians, but I noticed that you were a member of WP:Pop music, in addition to someone I had the pleasure of dealing with in the past for a GA review. I do not know if you are a fan of Gwen Stefani's music, but I sure am. If you were not aware, her article was recently nominated for a FAR and I honestly do not know if I have it in myself to improve the article alone. Regardless, I'd rather see the article improve than the FA icon be removed. That would erase all of the merit for the exceptional work that various users have contributed over the years. I would appreciate if someone could help me improve it, as an article of that length and detail is quite overwhelming when going in solo. If you are not interested, that is also alright. Anyway, thanks for your time. Cheers, Carbrera (talk) 04:45, 3 August 2016 (UTC).
