In July you added a picture of this church in 1827 to this article. I have now found a prewar photo of the church and it doesn't look anything like the picture you added. Either the church was completely rebuilt between 1827 and 1920 (which isn't likely) or you have the wrong Nikolaikirche - I imagine there are many St Nicholas churches in Germany. Hey Adam, it is true that the Nikolai Church in Berlin was repeatedly Remodeled and very damaged during the war. To Germans article you can see this very good, even if you do not understand a German. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolaikirche_(Berlin) I live and Work in Berlin, the cherry is not very far from having.
