Jolly Good[edit]

You've made your case, although my actions at the time seemed correct given the evidence I looked it, I now realize I didn't have the whole picture. I've stepped aside from the issue and will let others handles it as they see fit. Q T C 21:01, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

This will help you on the Capri pants page. You can look through my recent edits to the page to see how I did it, if you are still confused. Instead of using the "note" template to add your references, it's better to do it as an in-line citation. After the sentence that you wish to reference, add the following tags: <ref name="INSERT A SHORT NAME HERE">INSERT FULL REFERENCE HERE</ref>. Then, make sure that under the "References" or "Notes" section of the page there is the following template: {{reflist}}. (You only need to have Reflist once.)

What this does is it creates a footnote that will automatically appear wherever the "Reflist" tag is, and when it is clicked on, you can see the exact sentence that is being referenced, and gives it a name so it can be easily reused. Plus, if you want to use the same reference twice, you can very quickly do so by simply typing the following <ref name="WHATEVER THE SHORT NAME IS" />. (Note: this only works the SECOND time you use a named reference. You still must use the full version for the first time you do it.

Let me give you an example below. Hit edit to see the actual wikitext.
