Adrienne Ida G. Ruben[edit]

Your article Adrienne Ida G. Ruben was deleted as a copyright violation, because it was cut and pasted from Ms. Ruben's campaign site. If you wish to recreate the article, please do so in your own words. Thanks, NawlinWiki 21:52, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am copying the content that was on this page to your userspace at User:Dchoy/Adrienne Ida G. Ruben. Please do not repost the article without rewriting the content so that it is not just a copy-and-paste, and to match Wikipedia's format for biographies (try reading some other articles on politicians). The article as written hardly has any complete sentences -- it's mostly just a bullet-point list of items. Don't forget that this is an encyclopedia, not a promotional site, so please use a neutral point of view. NawlinWiki 05:19, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NawlinWiki: You are annoying. I wrote that article. This is not a copyright violation - however, I don't know how to approach you and repost b/c you don't seem to ever read anything I write to you. -dchoy

A tag has been placed on Kingcow, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -WarthogDemon 04:35, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article was deleted for the reasons stated by the user who tagged it, see above. I agree with those reasons -- there doesn't seem to be any reason for this article other than to promote the business. NawlinWiki 05:22, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • There is also nothing in the article that explains why this company might be notable, see WP:CORP. But I will copy the content to your userspace as well at User:Dchoy/Kingcow. You should note that any revision that does not address notability, and any revision that is promotional (like "King Cow faces challenges of satisfying their current client-base while developing new web services for webpage creation and editing.") is likely to be deleted again -- if not by me, then by the first administrator that sees it. A tag has been placed on King Cow, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DMacks 05:52, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Do not repeatedly repost this article. If you wish for it to remain, make your case at Deletion Review. Repeatedly recreating an article that is deleting can get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. Danny Lilithborne 06:43, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • A company's having clients who may be notable doesn't make the company notable. I admire your efforts, but it really does not appear that this company meets WP:CORP. NawlinWiki 12:08, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Tulip Glass[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tulip Glass requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Ottre 23:54, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
