Lucky Bastard Club

Organized crime in Jamaica (UTC)Dante

You got some comments: I don't see that you did much with them. Have you looked up Catch 22? Dr Aaij (talk) 18:12, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I did. I can see where the cultural impact could help, but the information for that is scarce.Dante2326 (talk) 23:13, 10 March 2017 (UTC)Dante[reply]

  • Well, I still don't see what you did. V00d00Child dropped you some advice a month ago--none of that has been incorporated into the article. The Veracruz draft has three sentences, with no activity in the last four days. The DYK nomination seems to present some problems that need attending. It may appear easy, but this is not a class where you can sit back, do nothing or next to nothing, and pass. The Lucky Bastard article hasn't even been copyedited properly, and you've had more than a month to do that in. Dr Aaij (talk) 02:32, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar[edit]

Hi Dante2326, you need to work on the grammar and writing style of your draft article. "In the Red Crag, one of the generals last words are documented, his name was Xu Xiaoxuan, his last words were about party consolidation, party rectification, higher education, and fighting capacity." There are 3 separate sentences in that single run-on. You use "generals" in what should be the possessive case, but have treated it as a plural instead. The next sentence after this quoted one appears to be missing a verb. You seem to have found an interesting subject that is deserving of an article, but the writing of that article needs to be clear. Let me know if you need help. LadyofShalott 00:59, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
