Welcome...[edit]

Hello, DamAzul, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{Help me}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! P.S.: Some pages you might like to check out are:

Go to the right desk
  • The Teahouse is primarily for newer editors' questions about topics such as creating pages, citing sources, and approval of articles.
  • The Help desk is for more experienced editors' questions about how to use Wikipedia.
  • Village pump (technical) is for more technical questions about Wikipedia.
  • The Reference desk is for questions about life, the universe, and everything (other than about Wikipedia). It's a virtual version of the reference desk at a library. Wikipedians are very knowledgeable, and if they don't know the answer, they can probably find it pretty quickly.

AfC notification: Draft:La Mujer (magazine) has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:La Mujer (magazine). Thanks! Robert McClenon (talk) 00:08, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Amaranta Osorio Cepeda[edit]

I have seen your draft at your sand box. A major issue is citation, a lot of information is unsourced like, Biography- first para unsourced, Her monologue unsourced, Major plays unsourced, Awards and Publication unsourced. Add citation to all of these with Reliable source for Verifiability. Drat8sub (talk) 19:10, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote some feedback for you at User talk:DamAzul/Learn more User:DamAzul/sandbox Authors. ¶ I love your commitment to creative, powerful women! :O) Mark D Worthen PsyD (talk) [he/his/him] 04:36, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your thread has been archived[edit]

Teahouse logo

Hi DamAzul! The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, Cleaning up the old sandbox, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

The archival was done by Lowercase sigmabot III, and this notification was delivered by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} here on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:01, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: La Mujer (magazine) has been accepted[edit]

La Mujer (magazine), which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. Most new articles start out as Stub-Class or Start-Class and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hi DamAzul. Thank you for your work on Milagros Caturla. Another editor, Broc, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Hi, thanks for creating the page. Please note that translations from other Wikipedias without proper attribution are considered a violation of Wikipedia's licensing requirements. See Help:Translation to understand how to translate a page providing correct attribution.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Broc}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Your translations of women's biographies[edit]

Hi there, DamAzul, and thank you for translating several women's biographies from the Spanish wiki. For attribution purposes, when you create a trasnslated article, you should mention the original article in your first edit and include the translation template on the article's talk page. You can find more specific details on Help:Translation. I hope you intend to continue creating biographies of women. If so, you might find it useful to become a member of WikiProject Women in Red where we are trying to improve Wikipedia's coverage of women. You can sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 09:55, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Ipigott, right now I am adding myself to the list of women in network and I will also indicate when it is a translation. I am always learning from other publishers. Best regards DamAzul (talk) 09:10, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for following up on my suggestion and welcome to Women in Red. Even though you seem to be mainly interested in translations, you might find it useful to look through our Ten Simple Rules. Let me know if ever you need further assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 16:04, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Ipigott, I have already joined the women in the press project and have included a few articles that are in the Spanish version in order to create/translate them into English. Best regards DamAzul (talk) 07:17, 23 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
