August 2015[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Anni-Frid Lyngstad may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Song articles[edit]

Heads up that WP:NSONG requires a single to have charted, won an award or been written about for some reason, in order to merit an article. The infobox-only stubs you're creating will end up being merged with their main album or artist articles, if they don't confirm or claim any particular notability. --McGeddon (talk) 15:09, 24 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of To Turn the Stone[edit]

The article To Turn the Stone has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable single. (Since I removed the copyvio lyrics, the whole of the content of the article is unreferenced infoboxes).

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ColinFine (talk) 23:37, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Lyrics and copyright[edit]

Please stop adding lyrics to articles about songs, DalexB. I am sure you are intending to improve Wikipedia, but unfortunately adding copyright material to it not only doesn't improve it, but makes it illegal. In any case, almost the whole of every Wikipedia article should be a summary of what people unconnected with the subject have written about it and published in reliable places (which must be cited). If there are reviews which talk about the lyrics, then the article can report what these reviews said: if there aren't then there is literally nothing which may be said about the lyrics in the article. Please read your first article. --ColinFine (talk) 23:47, 25 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

sorry i didn't know adding lyrics was against copyright laws

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at I See Red (Clannad song). Do not hijack another article. You are vandalizing the article. Bgwhite (talk) 08:49, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Note, about the Proposed deletions you removed. You removed the tags without addressing the issue. I'll be nominating the article for deletion unless you add information to the articles and show why they are notable. This includes references. A song by a famous singer is not automatically notable. It has to be shown why it is notable. This usually means it has entered some national chart. Bgwhite (talk) 08:56, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 26[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Visitors (ABBA album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Visitors. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:I See Red close-up.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:I See Red close-up.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vanjagenije (talk) 15:38, 21 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Tell Me It's Over (Frida song)[edit]

Hello, DalexB, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Significa liberdade, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Tell Me It's Over (Frida song), should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tell Me It's Over (Frida song).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Significa liberdade}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Frida articles[edit]

Hi, @DalexB--

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia by creating articles! You recently created a number of articles for singles from Frida's Something's Going On album, though they lack citations from reputable sources. Given that you have expanded the articles, you likely have sources somewhere. Could you add those references to the article? If not, these articles may be deleted and/or blanked for redirection back to the album.

For information about citing sources, check out WP:CITE. Please let me know if you have any questions about citing. Significa liberdade (talk) 04:38, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
