Request reason:

It appears I've been blocked (IP address 66.220.13.38 blocked) until 2024 for absolutely no reason on my part. I guess I'll withhold my annual donations until 2024 unless unblocked. Why a 3 year block? Seems incredibly punitive. DLM (talk) 14:54, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

THat IP is blocked as a webhost/proxy as stated in the block log for that IP (see WP:PROXY for why we block them), further whether you donate or not has no bearing on the ability to edit (its also in the arguments to avoid in unblock requests). Lavalizard101 (talk) 15:35, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I live in a rural area. My only internet access is via a Wireless ISP (www.motech.org). My IP address is assigned dynamically. This block is probably affecting everyone who is dependent on this Wireless ISP provider and is punitive to already underserved users. DLM (talk) 15:46, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
