My edit at 198[edit]

Hello, you asked Oleg Alexandrov to comment about my recent edit at 198 (number). You could have asked me directly, as I'm glad to explain my reasoning. I removed the facts that 198 = 100 + 90 + 8 and that 198 is a 67-gonal number, because I think they are uninteresting: I think that is clear for the first fact, and the second fact follows from the general rule that 3n is an (n−1)-gonal number, so you can say something like that for every multiple of 3. -- Jitse Niesen (talk) 14:13, 15 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Jitse that it is not interesting that 198 = 100 + 90 + 8. If I think about it, I also agree that it is not that interesting that 198 is a 67-gonal number. I don't really mind that info though.
But please note that if n is a polygonal number, that is not by itself a good enough of an excuse to create an article about n. That is to say, this article seems to have other interesting info too, but in the future if there is an article containing only the divisors of a number and the fact that it is polygonal, then that article is a good candidate for deletion.
On other matters, when you make links, you should like like this: abundant number, rather than like this: Abundant Number. That is, do not use capitals unless at the beginning of sentence. That is the convention in here. Same for 67-gonal Number, it needs to be: 67-gonal number. Cheers, Oleg Alexandrov 16:08, 15 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedia Canada[edit]

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

Merci. Since that's about the extent of my Canadien-French, and I don't want to make an ass of myself, I'll just say thank you for your kind words! Nach0king 09:26, 2 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Westboro[edit]

The article had no assertion of notability, and was a speedy deletion candidate as such. If you can show me that reliable sources exist to demonstrate its importance I am happy to restore the article. Phil Sandifer (talk) 20:57, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Westboro Baptist Church (Ottawa)[edit]

Hi. I just came across User:D'Iberville/Westboro Baptist Church (Ottawa), which has been there for quite a while with no work being done on it. I appreciate you have not contributed to Wikipedia for several years and may no longer be around, but I thought I'd ask you about it before I nominate it for possible deletion. So, is there any likelihood that this will become a genuine article any time soon? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:01, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
