Paul Silas basketball player[edit]

He is the cousin of the Pointer Sisters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.127.16.144 (talk) 02:08, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings, User:23.127.16.144 !
It's interesting that this claim may be true. There is a citation about Anita Pointer spending time with family in Prescott, here, so it certainly seems possible. Claims made in articles about Biographies of Living People must be verifiable though.
See if a citation can be found to support their family relationship. If one can be found, the information could be added to their biography articles. Remember; the information, if found, should be added in a non-trivial way. See 'Trivia'.
Good luck, and let me know if I can help! Curley Wolf (talk) 02:59, 1 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kirby Allan references[edit]

hello,

I simply fixed some incorrect data. -- Floridahistorian (talk) 05:05, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Floridahistorian: Care must be taken when adding information about living persons. This includes family members. In particular, marriages, and statements about Marc Allan's "golden voice" need references. Also, Night Tide is the only movie where Allan is known to have had an acting role, so other acting credits would need a citation. And, statements such as "he claimed" tend to infer doubt, so they need citations too. The point that 'Allan' was a pseudonym of his birth name, however, could provide information of value if properly referenced and expanded to explain Allan's reasoning. Take a look at the first sentence of the first paragraph under 'Career', for example. Likewise, Allan's association with Dennis Hopper could be of interest if citations were provided. Without any citations, expanding upon their relationship might be considered movie trivia.
I hope this helps to explain the content reversion. If citations can be found, the additional information could greatly enhance the article and would be much appreciated. -- Curley Wolf (talk) 14:23, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
