October 2022[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Decimal have been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 11:51, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please refrain from hijacking pages as you did with Decimal. Should you believe the subject you were writing about deserves an article, please use the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version that you can then get feedback on. Also see Wikipedia's disambiguation guideline which indicates how to handle separate subjects with similar names. If you continue to hijack an existing article, you may be blocked from editing. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 12:10, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I wanted to translate the Russian page Decimal. And after editing, I saw that I was capturing the page. I already saw my mistake. Created a page Decimal Blockchain. Sorry Crypto Konstantin (talk) 12:38, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion[edit]

Instead of hijacking decimal I suggest you create the page Decimal (company), then you can add it to the Decimal (disambiguation) page. But don't link the Russian version of the page from the disambiguation page. Dhrm77 (talk) 12:24, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Links to draft articles[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Decimal (disambiguation). Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:54, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks to. Understood the error. Crypto Konstantin (talk) 13:05, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Decimal (cryptocurrency), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ♠PMC(talk) 08:07, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cryptocurrencies are a contentious topic on Wikipedia[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose discretionary sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

A tag has been placed on Decimal (company) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2A00:23EE:2678:4134:98D9:87FF:FE5C:6E45 (talk) 08:59, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello. I read the block appeal guide and realized I made a mistake. I misinterpreted the post above from user Dhrm77, who indicated that you should create a Decimal (company) page for the Decimal company page, which I did. I tried to make the article about the company not promotional - no such goal. The goal is to present Decimal on wikipedia so that I can keep a history of the company. Can you tell me, please, what should I do? How to do everything correctly and competently? Crypto Konstantin (talk) 09:41, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

No. See WP:COI. If this is your only goal here, this is the end of the line. Yamla (talk) 10:53, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My goal as someone who does this is to enable people who are looking for information about blockchain - to learn and add information about the Decimal blockchain, which provides opportunities to create your own token, tokenize your business and use cryptocurrency not as money, but as a resource that allows you to create projects. Nowadays there are giants, for example Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain and others that share the cryptocurrency market. I want to show the cryptocurrency community that there are alternatives with their own features. Yes, the company does not yet have as big an information source as the above-mentioned companies. So I'm asking for your help - to tell me the best way to start running a wikipedia page. Openly, honestly, without advertising. The company has a trademark, has user support, is hosted on cryptocurrency sites that people are targeting. Blockchain has passed the long-awaited audit by Certik and is in the top 10% of blockchains in the world. Please help me understand - what is the best way to proceed? How to enable a company - to have a page here? I thought I took into account the information of past recommendations, but I didn't... I am a blockchain and cryptocurrency specialist. On wikipedia - I am learning and I can make mistakes. But every step, every mistake - makes me a better person. You help me to sort things out little by little with your recommendations. Please help me.

You will not be unblocked to edit about blockchain. If that is your only goal, this is the end of the line. If, however, you want to edit subjects outside your conflict of interest, then tell us what they are in your next unblock request. PhilKnight (talk) 15:25, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Yes, I am interested in the role of someone who, as a blockchain specialist, can verify and supplement information for users about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in general. I am involved in tokenization and I am interested in this direction. There are a lot of fraudulent schemes on the Internet, which I fell for at one time or another. I am interested in exposing such companies and pseudo-blockchains. But so far I'm not very good at it. I would like a mentor... I also have my own projects, for example a tea store. But I didn't put it on Wikipedia because I don't think it's appropriate. I have skills and specialties that allow me to edit other topics, such as psychotherapy, psychology, music, sound, programming. Of course I plan and want to be involved in building a knowledge base for the future and current generation. I would appreciate if you could guide me and point out my mistakes so that I don't make them again. Crypto Konstantin (talk) 16:28, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is a clear case of WP:IDHT. To the next reviewing admin, it's time to consider revoking talk page access. These requests are going nowhere and Crypto Konstantin is not listening to what they've been told, over and over again. --Yamla (talk) 16:36, 6 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
