Request for help[edit]

I am an unregistered editor, and I attempted to edit http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=College_tuition_in_the_United_States&action=history where I see you have edited recently, but 'Nasnema' just now apparently vandalised the page, and reverted my edits, falsely claiming that I did not cite my sources; I did cite my sources.

I am a religious person who believes in God, and I do not wish to cause unnecessary pain or trouble for 'Nasnema,' but also, I must defend the truth and what is right: It would appear that this user is valdalising this page, & falsely claiming that I am --which makes a good case that I should not join Wikipedia. Could you please look itno it? Thank you.71.101.40.113 (talk) 17:06, 9 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is a derivative work of a Google Maps screenshot, and is thus not a free image. --SPUI (T - C) 13:41, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Said changes still rely heavily on the original map. By the way, have you found any official plans for this road tunnel? --SPUI (T - C) 13:50, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Where are these "mentions of potential road tunnels under the harbor"? In an EIS for the rail tunnel? Sources don't have to be available on the web, just probably from an official agency or newspaper in this case. Is it the kind of thing that could be handled by a paragraph in the rail tunnel article and a redirect? --SPUI (T - C) 14:01, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Are there any reliable sources though? We don't make an article on every pipe dream posted on a newsgroup. --SPUI (T - C) 14:09, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Can you please add some of those as references to the article? Thanks. --SPUI (T - C) 14:17, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DYK[edit]

Updated DYK query Did you know? has been updated. A fact from the article Cross-Harbor Rail Tunnel, which you recently created, has been featured in that section on the Main Page. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the "Did you know?" talk page.

Thanks for the contribution. Now, if I may insert an editorial comment, on the other NYC tunnel article, please find sources, and change the map out for a TIGER one too... that google one has to go. ++Lar: t/c 02:44, 21 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ISABELLE[edit]

Hi Craig -- just to let you know that I changed Isabelle from a redirect to ISABELLE to a disambiguation page, so the link on your user page no longer leads directly to your original article on ISABELLE. Joriki 11:45, 4 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
