Speedy deletion of Doing a cunningham[edit]

A tag has been placed on Doing a cunningham, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Nonsense phrase. Google provides three hits for "Doing a cunningham," none of which reference this usage

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

"Doing a cunningham"[edit]

If you can find sources for it, then there shouldn't be any issues whatsoever. The problem arose when you posted the article that was unsourced, and when I went and tried to find sources myself, not only could I not find anything to support some of the assertions made, but I couldn't find anything that said that the phrase existed at all. I don't intend to call you a liar here, but we get lots of people who make things up and try and claim that they're real, so a deleting admin would have taken that with a grain of salt. However, if you actually do have those sources, your article won't get deleted just because someone's never heard a particular turn of phrase. Apologies for any inconvenience. --fuzzy510 (talk) 19:07, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
