Hello, ColderPalace1925, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Your user and talk pages[edit]

Hi- just a note that redirecting your user and talk pages to an article is confusing at best, and downright misleading at worst. I have removed the redirect on your talk page, as someone may need to contact you, and being redirected to an article is not helpful. Also, please note that your edits to Wikipedia, whether or not you redirect your userpage, are not all rights reserved- with every edit, "you irrevocably agree to release your contribution under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 License and the GFDL." If you have any questions, you're welcome to contact me on my talk page. J Milburn (talk) 11:18, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of G. B. Blackrock for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article G. B. Blackrock is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/G. B. Blackrock until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 11:36, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

ColderPalace1925, I've noticed quite a few of your recent edits have been what we call "test edits". For example, you blank a page or add an odd template, and then quickly revert the change. This can be considered disruptive. I know you have been using the WP:Sandbox, and I encourage you to continue to keep your test edits to the sandbox or your own sandbox.

I also noted that you have done a number of redirects, a few of which will soon be deleted under WP:CSD#R3. Please read through WP:Redirect carefully, as I do not believe you fully understand the purpose of a redirect. Please let me know if you have any questions. Singularity42 (talk) 13:38, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Claiming "all rights reserved"[edit]

I think this has been mentioned to you before, but I want to be pretty explicit about it. You cannot copyright and all rights reserved on articles you create, such as what you did here. While it is true that the editors have copyright in the material they write on Wikipedia, at the bottom of each page there is a notice that by clicking the "Save Page" button, you agree, amongst other things, to irrevocbly agree to release your contributions under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License and the GNU Free Documentation License. If you want to reserve all of your copyrights with this material, then a) you should not contribute it Wikipedia, and b) you should request that your contribution be deleted. For more in}}haraformation, see WP:Copyrights. Singularity42 (talk) 14:15, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

July 2011[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Vulva, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Test[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Laura Shigihara ‎. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Singularity42 (talk) 13:04, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Who comes first?[edit]

{{Help me-helped}}

Who comes first when you go to Google and search for "Shigihara"? ColderPalace1925 (talk) 11:10, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

For me this site, but this doesn't appear to be a question about Wikipedia.--SPhilbrickT 12:30, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This is not an appropriate use of this template, either. And again, do not substitute templates unless specified in the template documentation. It needlessly clutters the page with template code. —DoRD (talk) 14:46, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your move of FAQ[edit]

Before you move a page, please look at the history of the article. As you can see from the edit history, there are good reasons why FAQ is kept where it is, and why Frequently asked questions redirects to it, rather than the other way around. Singularity42 (talk) 11:21, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Singularity42 (talk) 10:40, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

ColderPalace1925, what exactly are you trying to do on Wikipedia? You have been making a lot of edits to established pages that are unexplained or non-constructive. You have been creating redirects that are not in line with WP:REDIRECT (which has been explained to you before). You are making problematic article moves without looking at an article's history or considering the consequences of the move. You are creating very strange test articles and test pages. And you have been using talk pages and "help me" requests to promote the subject of an article you worked on. You may mean well, but the net effect of your editing has been disruptive, and is creating a lot of clean-up work.

Is there a specific area of articles you want to edit and focus your energies on? Singularity42 (talk) 10:48, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

In particular, the redirect you created from an indefinitely blocked user to a long-term, established editor was not helpful at all so I have deleted it. Redirects from one user to another user should only be used for related accounts, not for completely unrelated accounts as in this case.
Regarding the rest of your edits and the messages left here for you about those edits: You need to respond here to other editors' concerns. If you keep editing in a way that creates clean-up work for other editors, you will likely find yourself blocked from editing. —DoRD (talk) 14:00, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop moving pages.[edit]

Please don't move a page without first gaining a consensus on the page's talk page. This applies to all pages, but it especially applies to long-standing policy pages.

Thanks. APL (talk) 20:48, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Consorveyapaaj2048394. Thank you. —DoRD (talk) 22:10, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:2redirects.PNG[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:2redirects.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 07:33, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
