Information icon Hello, I'm Binksternet. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Cliff Burton, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 01:21, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

huum ok. well the source would be in Metallica's liner notes for ...and justice for all. that's why I added that little piece to show that cliff Burton indeed wrote most of the song. Cliffdimerandy (talk) 13:32, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There's another method for citing the liner notes. The template for that is Template:Cite AV media. The liner notes stand by themselves as a reliable publication of facts.
Certainly Burton co-wrote "To Live Is to Die". The song is credited to "Hetfield, Ulrich, Burton" on the album. But the finer points of whether he wrote more lyrics or more music is not supported by the liner notes. Binksternet (talk) 14:00, 9 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
