Another account?[edit]

You don't have another account here, do you? I'm asking becauase something in your pattern of edits has struck me as a bit suspicious. I'm not intending to assume bad faith here, by any means, just curious... --Winger84 (talk) 20:03, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sandcastle Disco[edit]

Hey there, I noticed you edited the article for Solange's "Sandcastle Disco", but failed to establish its notability. Per WP:NM, songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been performed independently by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable. "Sandcastle Disco" currently fails to establish notability, so should remain redirected to Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams until then. Just a little clarification. DiverseMentality(Discuss it) 05:18, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your edits to Rock Witchu Tour. Until there is a reliable source indicating that LL is the opening act, it should not be added to the article. Let me know if you have any concerns or questions. Cheers, caknuck ° is geared up for football season 01:02, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fantasy Ride[edit]

Wikipedia is not a fan site. It is not to make pages "look better". It is a logicial encyclopedia. Do not removed sourced references and confirmed information or the actually correct unsourced information will be removed. Charmed36 (talk) 02:27, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Once again, do not leave false information on articles. It is misleading and not helpful. Can you please contribute reliable information and leave out the unnecessary sentences. Charmed36 (talk) 23:34, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Add sources please. They should correct sources. This is not a cheap, fun fansite. Sometimes, you add fansite-like information. Charmed36 (talk) 02:42, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will have to speak to someone about your incorrect sourcing and that you're a sockpuppet. This is not a fansite. Charmed36 (talk) 02:56, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Go Girl[edit]

Don't move sections. They follow a guideline by Wikipedia. It is correct as it is. Charmed36 (talk) 04:52, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The song was not a promo single. It should not be there. The single was a failure. I believe you are a sockpuppet. Charmed36 (talk) 03:21, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/CiaraFan4Ever for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 00:01, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Away (Enrique Iglesias song)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Away (Enrique Iglesias song), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. —Hello, Control Hello, Tony 22:32, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Ciara Goodies.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ciara Goodies.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:19, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Takin' Back My Love. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. --Allen3 talk 02:24, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Ciara First Photo With Wilhelmina Models.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Ciara First Photo With Wilhelmina Models.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Stifle (talk) 14:46, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ciara First Photo With Wilhelmina Models.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ciara First Photo With Wilhelmina Models.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 14:46, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Ciara At 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ciara At 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 18:10, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Like a Surgeon Single Cover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Like a Surgeon Single Cover.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:05, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

June 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Fantasy Ride, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Okay, I will now have a look at the IP, please note that all capped edit summarys make my head ache. Gsmgm (talk) 15:27, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

False information with false source[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Ciara discography, you will be blocked from editing. - eo (talk) 15:40, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your not on Eric's talk page, and thought I would give you a quick explanation. When you listed the songs, you added <ref name="ascap"/> to them. Looking through the article, that means that you claimed that the songs were listed at http://www.ascap.com/ace/search.cfm?requesttimeout=300&mode=results&searchstr=CIARA&search_in=a&search_type=exact&search_det=t,s,w,p,b,v&results_pp=30&start=1 . They are not. So, not only did you add information that you should not have added (we don't publicize leaks), but you claimed it was sourced somewhere that it wasn't. Looking at the number of warnings you've already received on things like this, Eric's warning was quite justified.—Kww(talk) 15:58, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Ciara In Go Girl Music Video.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Ciara In Go Girl Music Video.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Σxplicit 18:07, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ride[edit]

An article's quality is not defined by the number of sections or size it is defined by the quality of information on the page. Having lots of tiny sections for an article is not even 8kb in size is ridiculous. Just look at I Got You (Leona Lewis song). I'm all for teamwork and co-operation on wikipedia and i've said previously that when/if more information is available then people can extended the article as required. But at the moment there are several rampant ciara fans and several calm ones liek yourself determined to edit the article in personal preference as some kind of support to Ciara. Please remember that wikipedia is neutral and although there is nothing wrong with being a fan of somebody's work we should edit articles objectively. Focus on the information available and guidance on wikipedia for good articles. I hope you can understand my point? You've been a really good editor in the past with the Ciara discography - you work hasn't gone un-noticed. =) 16:14, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Jay-Z Promotionanal Tour Photo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
