Thanks so much for the Black Cross award. It is very greatly appreciated. I see you're new here, if I can help you with anything, please let me know.--Cúchullain t/c 06:33, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to thank you for the Black Cross award. I is greatly appreciated.--Berig 06:39, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Me too, even if it looks a bit disturbing! A great new year's present! Fergananim 10:13, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Add my name to the list of thanks for the award. Was a nice little surprise this morning. Dppowell 13:26, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi![edit]

Let me know what you think of this 1347 in Ireland; am I going into too much depth, wandering too much from other Year's in style? Fergananim 17:24, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just after finishing extensive revising of the above article. I aim to keep on at it over the coming weeks and submit it for peer review. Would very much appreciate your thoughts. Fergananim 20:00, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No article on Mac Fhirbhisigh would be complete without one on Nollaig. We're not short on good historians here in Ireland, but for my money Nollaig is head and shoulders above many. Besides citing a few more of his works, and maybe adding a photo, this article is nearly complete. Fergananim 23:45, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Norse history and culture wikiproject[edit]

Wikipedia:WikiProject Vikings and Wikipedia:WikiProject History of Scandinavia both appear to be defunct at this point. I would like to set up a new Wikiproject to oversee articles on ancient and medieval Scandinavian and Nordic history that would cover what these inactive projects used to. There are literally hundreds of great articles on obscure sagas, historical figures and the like (largely through the efforts of such users as User:Berig and User:Wiglaf). Since you have edited many Norse-themed articles in the past, I would be interested in your thoughts on how best to proceed. --Briangotts (Talk) (Contrib) 21:36, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:WikiProject Norse history and culture if you are interested. Briangotts (Talk) (Contrib) 14:00, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scots, Attacotti and Deisi[edit]

Hi Ciarán . I would like your opinion on the above short addition I made to Prehistoric settlement of Great Britain and Ireland. Cheers. Fergananim 14:25, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
