Thank you for your suggestion. When you believe an article needs improvement, please feel free to make those changes. Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone can edit almost any article by simply following the edit this page link at the top. The Wikipedia community encourages you to be bold in updating pages. Don't worry too much about making honest mistakes—they're likely to be found and corrected quickly. Also since you seem to be so aware of the situation, would you be able to produce any more references for any other notable events in the refinery's history, spills, releases, flair ups, local controversies, the refinery you can't hear/see/smell pledge, community protest, awards, commendations, history, a description of the workforce, the rod and gun club, the geography, the personnel, the good the bad the ugly the interesting, community groups, the controversy with the 72M/73 AC Transit bus line, what actually goes on, on a day-to-day basis, improvements, setbacks, etc etc.Troyster87 (talk) 05:40, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks everyone for your help and insight. It was not my intent to blank the page. That was a mistake. I've made edits to the "toxic spills" section according to my early note in the discussion section.

I'd be more then happy to help with additional information and content for this page and others pertaining to Chevron Corporation and our operations around the world.

Thank you for pointing out that the oleum spill was resultant of a General Chemical operation not Chevron, that was my mistake, I cited an incredibly long article about Chevron that shifted onto the G.C. spill within a section covering Chevron spills and I jumbled them together, furthermore now that I know about GC being responsible for the spill and with all the sources you pointed out I will write an article on GC. Additionally I would love it if you would be able to point out any more references about Chevron as I mentioned in my earlier comment, also a good way to speed up communication is not by answering on your talk page but by clicking on (talk) after my signature (Troyster87) following the link and answering there of for continuity purposes letting me know you have replied on your talk page. Cheers. p.s. are there any other Chevron topics you think are meriting of an article, such as the corporate headquarters? or another major facility? and i have a question for you, where was chevron headquartered before San Ramon? Hello wiki community. I've been inactive for a while but have some minor edits that I'd like to make to the Techron page. There are a few subtle issues with the language that I'll be amending. Also, with your blessing I'd like to work closely with our fuels and fuel additive teams to expand this page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Tahiti Field[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tahiti Field requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
