April 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Eddsworld. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 21:12, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting articles[edit]

Greetings. Before you split articles, you should discuss it on the article's talk page. Cutting and pasting like you did at The Life of Larry and Larry & Steve is not a good way of doing this. Let me know if you need help. Regards, P. D. Cook Talk to me! 21:17, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Eddsworld Deletion[edit]

Hello, my name is Zach. I saw that you attempted to remove the deletion tag on the Eddsworld article, but someone has already discussed this with you, so I will not comment any further on that. I wanted to ask of your opinion on the deletion of the article. If you want, you can go HERE to show your opinion of whether the article should be "Deleted" of "Kept". Just make sure you use a logical argument and that it is in direct relation to the context of the article. Thank-you for your interest. Zach Winkler (talk) 23:35, 7 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is Zach again. I just wanted to thank you for adding the "infobox" to the Eddsworld article. Remember, if you still want to comment on the proposed deletion of the article, you can fallow the link I provided to do so. Thank-you. Zach Winkler (talk) 05:04, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings. Please be sure that you cite reliable sources in articles you create. This ensures that Wikipedia's verifiability policy is met. Regards. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 14:22, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to take part in a pilot study[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I am a Wikipedian, who is studying the phenomenon on Wikipedia. I need your help to conduct my research on about understanding "Motivation of Wikipedia contributors." I would like to invite you to a short survey. Please give me your valuable time, which estimates only 5 minutes. cooldenny (talk) 21:41, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Another reminder about sourcing your contributions[edit]

Greetings. I've noticed that several of your recent additions did not cite sources. Please review the verifiability policy. All Wikipedia articles need to cite sources. As it stands, it seems like your additions are based on original research, which is not allowed. Please take the time to find sources and cite them properly; otherwise you're making more work for others. Let me know if you need help. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 23:19, 14 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tha Carter Series requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. noq (talk) 15:02, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Tha Carter Series requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
