Nanotherapeutics (Company)[edit]

I believe you developed this article but have not contributed to it since 2015. The company changed its name to Ology Bioservices in 2017. I'm still pretty new here and have never revised the main title of an article, but feel this needs changing. Can you help? Or just point me to a reference for everything that needs changing when the main title is revised? Thanks. Cleveland Todd (talk) 14:31, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

UFC Fight Night: Magomedsharipov vs. Kattar[edit]

Hey mate, could you please move the page UFC Fight Night: Magomedsharipov vs. Kattar to UFC Fight Night: Zabit vs. Kattar instead? I wanted to and would've done it myself, but am currently unable to do so. Cheers 29cwcst

Glassdoor[edit]

I see that awhile back you were involved in editing at Glassdoor. I was wondering if you could take a look the Criticism section and talk page to help weigh in. The page doesn't seem to have active users, so I'm reaching out to some people who have edited it in the past to see if they can help examine the situation. Thanks! only (talk) 01:06, 5 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Companies established in 1971[edit]

Hi Ceyockey, I have expanded some of the categories for “Companies established in 1971” by country that you created in 2014 by adding other years e.g. Category:Sri Lankan companies established in 1972 as well as for 1971 etc. and have added a parent category (e.g. Category:Companies of Sri Lanka by year of establishment.

But there are some countries left which have few articles in the parent category and could be considered for deletion and upmerging to the “1971 establishments in .…” category. The countries are Category:Companies of the British Virgin Islands, Category:Companies of Burundi , Category:Companies of Cameroon, Category:Companies of the Gambia, Category:Companies of Guatemala, Category:Companies of Senegal, and for Category:South Yemeni companies established in 1971. Though Category:Companies of Colombia seems to have a bit more content, and could be expanded by more years of establishment. Hugo999 (talk) 01:50, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Hugo999:—Thanks for keeping me in the loop. As you point out, I created these years ago and they were a seed rather than an endpoint. It certainly could be that some country or year categories might be insufficiently populated, but as long as there is a framework for expanding the category set as needed, all's good. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:13, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Hugo999:—another thought about cats like 'xxx of British Virgin Islands', this could go into a higher order category like 'xxx of British Overseas Territories' for instance, which would cover sixteen distinct territories. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:19, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ceyockey; as well as 1971, there are several (single-year) countries in 2007: Bolivia, Cambodia, Equatorial Guinea, Finland, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Nepal, Syria, and Venezuela. And in 2004; The Bahamas, Iraq, Qatar, Slovenia, Sudan, and Vietnam. Re a category for British Overseas Territories companies, the trouble is that several territories of Britain may fall outside it as they are Crown Dependencies etc, like the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man (which are handy to London for secret offshore companies!). I think I will just do Finland and for the others just the year in question (so that the country appears in Category:Companies by year by country though with only a subcategory for one year). I would also like to merge your Category:Korean companies established in 2004 to Category:South Korean companies established in 2004. Hugo999 (talk) 02:16, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Gus Edwards (vaudeville)[edit]

Hi. When you added (vaudeville) to disambiguate all these links, which was good, you should also have added "|Gus Edwards", so that the link would cover the disambiguation, like so: Gus Edwards. I did it for a couple of these, which showed up on my watch list, but would you please fix the others? Thanks. -- Ssilvers (talk) 06:39, 13 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Ssilvers: I think I've taken care of them all now. Thanks for pointing it out. I was using WP:JWB and wasn't sufficiently careful. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:31, 14 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New source for Grifols History[edit]

Hello, there's a new source for Grifols History at https://revistes.ub.edu/index.php/JESB/article/view/j085. I'm not familiar with the rules and etiquette of contributing to Wikipedia but I see you've made many edits to the Grifols page. Would you like to contribute again or should I give it a try myself? Full disclosure, I'm a Grifols employee, not sure of the additional sensitivity that may cause. I did not contribute to the article in any way and only learned of it today. I was not requested to take any action on it nor have I requested to, nor even fully read the article. Hope this isn't inappropriate, best regards. Jescott.ucla (talk) 01:19, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Jescott.ucla: Best for you not to contribute to the article yourself as there are conflict-of-interest rules here which some people get very worked up about. I do not contribute to my company page, nor even the talk page ... my company, in fact, re-wrote some of its internet use guidelines after I and management had some words around my contributions, which were innocuous and informational only, but problematic from a conflict-of-interest point of view. This article you've provided seems ok .. but I am curious about the affilliation of Sans-Ponseti; stated as Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona-Grifols SA (Spain), wondering if this is a company-funded unit of the University? If yes, then the authorship might be considered a bit problematic, but ok to use and see if there are any objections; and I need to check on the journal's status here. I'll look at adding this in ... by the end of May ... no hurry. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:14, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion in deletion sorting different from discussion on original?[edit]

Hello Ceyockey,
I'm reaching out to you given your age in the deletion sorting project. I've come across a curious inconsistency on an AfD discussion: the comments on the original, stand-alone discussion differ from the comments on the deletion sorting pages that include the original discussion:
(a) On the individual AfD, one keep and 2 comments following the re-list. The keep precedes the comments.
(b) On this Schools AfD compilation, 2 comments only following the re-list. The "keep" is suppressed.
The same suppression appears on Education AfD sorting and on the Minnesota AfD sorting.
The concern is that if the closer looks at any of the sorting pages and erroneously believes the discussion to be complete, the closer may close the discussion without consideration of all of the comments left on the original page. What do you think?
Thanks in advance for any insights or suggestions, XavierItzm (talk) 07:23, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request edit help for LRN (company)[edit]

Hi. I am contacting you because you are a member of the Business Wikiproject. I submitted proposals for updating the wiki article on LRN (company) whose main focus is advisory on business ethics, regulation, and corporate culture. Talk:LRN (company)#Request Edits November 2022.. As someone who works for the company, I have a conflict of interest and cannot make the changes myself. I have followed all WP policies to the best of my abilities. Your review of the request would be very much appreciated. Thanks. DiegoPlace6561 (talk) 17:34, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
