Use accurate edit summaries[edit]

Certificationsaccess, we have had this discussion before. Why are you using the edit summary "Fixed." for this? How is removing certifications from a discography that yes, shouldn't be there because they're not certifications for countries with charts listed on the page, a fix? Please start accurately or better describing what you did to editors. There is no point in using an edit summary if you can't describe what you did. Also, you are still using the summary "added peak" for when you're just changing a peak. There's a difference between adding a chart position that was not there previously versus updating one. Please do better. Thank you. Ss112 02:09, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and many thanks, as always, for cutting in before me to update a few artists' peaks, like SZA, Ariana and Zayn. Funny how you waited until you noticed me start doing it before doing it yourself, when the Danish charts updated several hours ago. Not obvious at all. Ss112 02:13, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Ss112: you're welcome.
I have pings turned off, so I don't get notifications when you use re or ping templates. Just a note for future in case you want to leave any more snide replies. Not surprising for you though. Ss112 02:16, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Ss112: I wasn't being snide with my reply. You know I love you, respect you and had learnt much from you. Yet, as you said yourself, we've had this discussion before. I truly didn't notice you were already editing Danish charts only because I'm not used to check if the page is being edited by someone else, which means I didn't do it on purpose. It has been a long time since I stopped making editions at the same time as you, so don't feel attacked if it happens once in a while, I really didn't mean it. Sorry.
About the other topic: thank you for updating me about my wrong edit summary. I've been using "fixed" and "added peak" because I thought it was the right thing to write. I'll "do better" and detail more from now on. Once again, you're welcome (as a "non-snide" reply, just in case you missunderstand it).
