Cosmetic edits[edit]

Please stop Edits such as this don't change anything, so they just clog up RecentChanges and my watchlist. Please don't make edits like this. Grazie. —Justin (koavf)TCM 19:44, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Those were a small cluster of edits organizing those categories, for which there are very few. What made you think there would be any other edits? Also, those ones that didn't change anything were very few. The other ones were actually adding templates. Castelbuono (talk) 20:29, 19 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Block[edit]

Hi Bbb23. I would like to discuss this issue at hand. Firstly, I am sorry for any inconvenience I may have created. I would like to really get it out there that I have never purposely made nonconstructive edits on Wikipedia—any mistakes I have made I have immediately made efforts to correct. In relation to sockpuppetry, I'm sorry. I was unaware that using more than one account was considered sockpuppetry. I thought that was in reference to making abusive edits and circumventing consequences by creating and editing through other accounts, which I have never, ever done. The reason I have used multiple accounts was merely a personal preference that I was unaware was in contradiction with Wikipedia's rules. Each of the account were retired when I wished to take a break from Wikipedia, during which I would changed the password to my account to something I did not remember so I could increase my productivity. I had hoped to help edit Wikipedia while maintaining productivity in my personal life. I know this is an odd explanation because most don't create accounts for this reason. Again, I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience. I have always edited to the best of my ability with the hopes of increasing accuracy on the site. I will work my best to not do this again if it is against the rules. However, I am blocked as of right now. If the community does not wish to have me, I will leave. I always thought my edits were to the betterment of Wikipedia and most users thanked me along the way. Again, sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. You're kidding, right? You have created 24 accounts in the last few months, probably more before, but I can't track those. You created userpages with out-and-out lies on them. On one you said you were from Italy, another from Spain, another from I forget where. You even created accounts that edited specific controversial subjects, used them for a few edits, and then abandoned them. Based on all this, it's hard to believe anything you say.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:02, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Bbb23, Yes, I know it's quite odd. The content of the talk pages were not consistent only because I wanted to simply protect my identity, not hide from anyone or for anything I have done. Abandoning a user account would only be to edit a page without using my IP address. However, what do you mean that it is hard to believe what I say? What do you not believe? Were my edits incorrect, abusive or nonconstructive? My identity may not be something I want to share but I have never maliciously edited Wikipedia. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Hello, Castelbuono. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
