Hi. Nice new article at Pulaski County Bridge No. 31. I asked at its talk page, Talk:Pulaski County Bridge No. 31, whether you might be able to add a photo. I see here that you do have experience taking and uploading photos, that's great. By the way, for an article about a NRHP-listed site, if you can take pics, it often is good to take several pics, including some focussed on interesting details of the site. Anyhow, nice job. "Dunn's Original KKK Pleasure Resort"[edit]
Hi,
I noticed that, slightly more than a year ago, you added information to articles about Dunns Bridge, Indiana and Tefft, Indiana that indicates that Dunns Bridge was originally called "Dunn’s Original KKK Pleasure Resort". However, I cannot locate a source for this information other than Wikipedia mirrors and one article published after your addition. Do you have a source that indicates it was once known by that name? I appreciate your efforts to keep the information on Wikipedia properly sourced, although you engage in the sort of heavy-handed behavior here (including implying that I'm engaging in a hoax) that serves as a disincentive for a person to contribute. Could you not have asked me to add the citation, instead of removing it first? I wouldn't have put it there if I hadn't known it to be true. The image here is a copy of the subdivision plat which is recorded at the Jasper County, Indiana Courthouse. Here is an image of the copy, which was printed in a "Plat Book" of the county. It is a copy only; the original citation would have to take the reader to the office of the Jasper County Indiana Recorder, which is now closed to the public because of COVID. - Thank you so much for adding the citation! Normally I prefer to add {{Citation needed}} and leave the information in, assuming good faith on the part of the person who originally added it. However, in this instance, due to the nature of the claim and the potential harm that could result if it was intentional misinformation, I felt it was better to be safe than sorry and remove it in light of the fact that I couldn't locate anything to corroborate it that pre-dated its addition to the article. If I actually thought you intended it to be a hoax, I wouldn't have asked on your talk page for a citation, just removed it. On the other hand, if I didn't think there was a possibility it was a hoax from which harm could result, I wouldn't have removed it at all, but left it in tagged with a citation needed tag.
